Botox & Dysport Injections
We know the desire to feel confident and radiant in your own skin. Fine lines and wrinkles, while a natural part of the aging process, can sometimes hold you back from feeling truly yourself. We offer Botox and Dysport to help you achieve a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.
These injectables are neurotoxins derived from botulinum toxin and temporarily paralyze the muscles responsible for creating wrinkles. Relaxing these muscles reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, creating a smoother and more youthful look.
Our trained Zulu Medical team carefully administers Botox or Dysport to target specific areas of concern. Injections are quick, virtually painless, and require no downtime. You can expect to see results within 3–5 days after treatment.
These injectables, known as neuromodulators, offer a safe and effective way to smooth worry lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. The result? A refreshed, more youthful appearance that lets your inner beauty shine through.
We take the time to understand your unique goals and concerns to provide personalized advice. Contact us for a consultation to discover if these treatments are right for you.
Botox vs. Dysport
Botox and Dysport are quite similar: they’re both neuromodulators that temporarily block nerve signals that cause muscle contractions and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. However, they have some subtle differences:
- Botox is an established treatment with a long history of addressing moderate to severe wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, and between the brows.
- Dysport is known for its rapid results (often within a few days) and is particularly effective for treating frown lines. However, it affects a wider area than Botox and is not recommended for areas close to the eyes.
What Can Neuromodulators Do for Me?
Neuromodulators have been approved for several cosmetic and therapeutic uses. Whether you’re interested in enhancing certain features or finding relief for certain conditions, these injections could work for you. Neuromodulators can also help with conditions like TMJ disorders (jaw pain) and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
Cosmetic uses:
- Forehead lines
- Glabellar lines (between the eyebrows)
- Crow’s feet
Therapeutic uses:
- Jaw tension and TMJ
- Hyperhidrosis
