Passionate, energetic, and meticulous, with a drive towards excellence in everything she does in life, whether professional or personal, defines Dr. Lombard in a nutshell. She always approaches life with a driven, positive, and solution-orientated attitude, finding solutions for her patients that are comfortable, uncomplicated, and based on science. Then she combines the art of medicine with her passion for her professional career in her holistic approach to health, and you have the perfect recipe for success.

Dr. Jeané graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, with a bachelor’s in medicine and a bachelor’s in surgery. She has been practicing medicine for over 24 years on 3 continents: Africa, the United Kingdom, and North America. She holds medical licenses in South Africa and Canada. She is proud to call Calgary, Alberta, and the Rocky Mountains home for the last 20+ years.

An exciting time in her career began in 2020 when she completed her certification in Age Management Medicine with the Age Management Medicine Group (AMMG), also known as personalized medicine, functional medicine, integrative medicine, longevity medicine, or preventative medicine.

AMMG not only gave her the scientific evidence she needed to transition her practice but also helped identify changes that she has personally incorporated in her strive for a healthy and fulfilling life going forward.

Dr. Lombard continues to practice general medicine. You have full access to her diagnostic skills, a wealth of medical knowledge, and her exceptional power to give you hope in the most hostile of circumstances. Consultations give you plenty of time to ensure all your concerns are addressed, and you get solutions you can incorporate into any realm of your life.

Dr. Jeané brings 17 years of clinical experience in cosmetic medicine to the discerning cosmetic patient who wants natural results with world-class technology delivered with meticulous surgical accuracy. With the help of her team at Zulu Medical Cosmetics, she creates a custom treatment plan for every patient, addressing their individual concerns in an absolutely magical spa setting that stimulates all 5 senses.

With over 9 years in the medical aesthetics industry and having trained with industry leaders, Emilie brings a well-rounded educational background and a passion for learning about advances in the medical aesthetics world to make her clients look and feel like their best selves. Emilie graduated with honours from the Esthetic Institute as a medical aesthetician and advanced laser technician specializing in facial and body contouring. Emilie’s most well-known certifications include Fotona SP Dynamis, CoolSculpting Masters, InMode Face & Body Contouring, and microneedling.

Emilie’s passion for customer service and dedication to building strong relationships with her clients set her apart. Her professionalism and extensive knowledge of numerous skincare lines and treatments help her ensure that you have the tools you need to maintain your desired results at home.

In her spare time, you can find Emilie at a hockey game (Go Flames!) or camping and quadding, enjoying the outdoors with her friends, family, and golden retriever, Benny. 

Zulu Medical Cosmetics was born out of Mark’s vision to provide patients with an incredible experience through a team of top-notch practitioners and state-of-the-art technology. In addition to his work here, Mark is also a certified financial planner. He has always been passionate about helping people unlock financial health. Now, with Zulu, Mark can extend that passion to helping people discover bodily health and wellness.

When not fully engaged in the day-to-day activities, Mark likes to hit the ice for a fast-paced game of hockey. He is also fond of golf, which allows him to take in the energizing beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Leah began her nursing journey in Alberta after graduating in 2011. She was inspired to become a nurse by seeing a loved one’s journey through illness and realizing that nurses have the privilege to care for people in their most vulnerable times. Her compassionate nature and love of science, lifelong learning, and progress are great foundations for her chosen profession.

Leah developed her skills in 3 different fields of nursing—surgery, rheumatology, and neurology—before starting her journey into aesthetic medicine in 2020 with Eternal Beauty Institute and Empire Medical. Now that she has joined the Zulu team, she continues to expand her cosmetic experience and knowledge and has developed a passion for precision medicine. Leah has always had an eye for aesthetics. She appreciates natural ratios and has a critical eye for detail when it comes to healthy faces and symmetry. 

At Zulu, she is grateful to have Dr. Lombard as a mentor and the support of the Zulu team to branch out her aesthetic knowledge. Her cosmetic skills include in-depth anatomical knowledge of the face for injecting neurotoxins, filler products, and PRP. She has learned all about the skin as an organ and how to optimize skin health for incredible cosmetic benefits. 

Leah offers several cosmetic services, including neuromodulators (Botox, Nuceiva, and Dysport), filler, PRP, exosomes via microneedling, microneedling with the DP4 device and Beauty Booster, and body and facial contouring with Evolve, Evoke, and Morpheus 8.

Leah is also our precision health consultant and assists Dr. Lombard with the functional health of our clients. This skill set involves administering Reviv intravenous infusions and intramuscular injections, DNA testing and consultations, diet and exercise counselling, mindfulness sessions, and general nursing support to clients for any of their concerns navigating health, wellness, and life.

In her free time, Leah loves to cycle, swim, paint, read, and write poetry. She is a devoted hockey mom and cat aficionado. She’s been known to whip up gourmet meals; just don’t ask her to bake dessert—that’s Amand’s forte.
